There are so many founders building things that genuinely matter. But again and again, they struggle to access funding. Being in rooms with investors and global programs, it became clear that even meaningful, impactful work can be overlooked if it isn’t clearly structured or positioned. I came into the program knowing what I wanted to build, but I couldn’t quite explain it in a way that made sense to investors. The process really helped me slow down and think through my story properly. By the end, I wasn’t just more confident, I actually understood my business much better.
What stood out for me was how structured everything was. Each week forced me to make decisions I had been avoiding especially around pricing and revenue assumptions. I now have a much clearer business model and a pitch deck that reflects that clarity.
Before this, my pitch deck was descriptive but not investor-ready. The program helped me reframe it around market size, unit economics, and a clear growth narrative. I now have a much stronger articulation of both the opportunity and how we scale.
The biggest shift for me was understanding how investors actually think. It’s not just about having a good idea, it’s about how you present risk, traction, and the opportunity. The work we did on the data room and supporting materials made a huge difference in how prepared I feel going into conversations.
